| Programme for the Mobility of Administrative and Academic Staff |
The SG has established in 1998 a programme for the mobility of staff, financed by own our resources. The pilot phase was aimed at administrative staff but in 1999 it included academic staff as well.
The aim of this project is to provide opportunities for administrative staff mobility under the ERASMUS Framework, in order to enhance work placement and cross cultural experiences by means of one or two weeks work exchanges among the Santander Group Universities. No financial support from the Santander Group is needed since the participants will benefit from the Erasmus Grants. A Steering Group will be nominated by the Executive Committee for the implementation and co-ordination of the project.
The Santander Group has become a partner in the Project Cultural Preparation Course for North African Students coming to Europe under ERASMUS MUNDUS PROGRAMME Action 4: Enhancing Attractiveness. The aim of the project is To develop and organise tailor-made cultural preparation courses for North African students who start a European study experience as well as for those who wish to undertake studies in Europe in the future, to develop an eCourse on the same topic in order to reach a broader public and to provide a toolbox for universities wishing to engage in similar programmes in the future.
