The European Commission, under the auspices of the Czech Presidency of the EU, has organised the Erasmus Mundus (2009-2013) Launch Conference on the 16th and 17th February 2009. The aim of the conference is to enable all the participants to exchange best practices in the field of higher education and to enhance the quality of European higher education by promoting dialogue and cooperation with third countries.

The Santander Group will take part in the Erasmus Mundus II launch event on 16th and 17th Febraury and also in the Infoday organised by the Commission on 18th February. The information session seeks to provide potential applicants with the programme's new guidelines for 2009 – 2013 and give a detailed insight in its management aspects as well as advice on the preparation and submission of grant applications (administrative and financial aspects).
