The European Campus aims to create an area of free movement with a minimum of administrative hurdles non-European students. The application for presenting the information about the Master courses in Europe enables:

• To foster and facilitate student mobility,
• To make mobility experience richer and more successful,
• To encourage more students from all over the world to study in the EHEA,
• To strengthen cooperation among universities and student organizations in their common goals,
• To develop a platform that gathers formal and non-formal information in a fast and automated way,
• To engage universities to use an online information standard to obtain a more coherent presentation within and beyond the EHEA.

This is a good opportunity for our universities to promote their master courses. Indeed, not only does creating a website on this standardised templates make it easier for students to approach the masters, but the uploaded masters will be automatically linked to a central database where students will be able to easily access the master course information.

 

Furthermore, this tool is very flexible: the template can be used as a simple dissemination tool for the masters to appear in the platform, but can also be attached to a university's website and be used as the main website for the masters. It can also be used for joint masters.


It will also be a great chance for students to have a global vision of the opportunities and facilities which universities would offer, in fact it is not only a strong information database for students, but also a good way for them to read about stories from people who coordinate, follow or completed the programmes using new media: presentations and pictures, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. We also encourage our universities to explore this tool in order to give more visibility to Master courses in your institution.
